What We Do
Scan Studio specializes in providing affordable, reliable, professional object
laser scanning. Our customers range from the lone 3D artist who needs
objects scanned for content creation, to the prototyping departments of large
engineering firms. We can scan objects as small as a few inches, to the size
of a diesel engine. No matter how small or large the project, our objective is to
make the process of getting high quality 3D mesh models as streamlined
and easy as possible for our customers.

For many of customers the easiest solution is to ship
the item to be scanned. We have a quick turn around, and make the created
3D model available for electronic download within 1-2 business day of
receiving the item. Our mobile team is also available for on-site projects
anywhere in the world, and we can also receive projects at our studio located
in Corona, California.

Pricing
Our basic charge is $75.00 for scanning a single object and delivering the
finished 3D mesh model. Large objects that require us to setup on site,
require a more involved process and pricing is dependent on the objects
and the location of the site. Pricing is also flexible depending on the project.
For example if you have several or more items in a single project, such as a
model kit, we can scale the pricing to your benefit.
More involved and complex projects are priced accordingly, and we always
try to give our customers the most reasonable price.

Formats
We can provide the 3D Model in any mesh format including VRML, STL,
U3D, PLY, XYZ, OBJ, and .3DS. , and IGES and STEP for CAD/CAM.
Created 3D models are made available for Internet download, and are
shipped to the customer on DVD if desired.
